The university hosts the Republic Convention of young innovators, inventors and rationalizers.
On Wednesday, November 28, the Republican Convention of young innovators, inventors and rationalizers of Tatarstan, and also the “Active” exhibition of youth scientific and technical creativity opened in the 8th university building. Rector of KNRTU-KAI Albert Gilmutdinov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Leila Fazleeva, Minister of Economy of the Far East Farid Abdulganiev, General Director of the Innovation Promotion Foundation Sergey Polyakov and Advisor to the General Director of the Foundation Ivan Bortnik took part in the opening ceremony. “With great pleasure on behalf of the Government of the Republic I greet you. For Tatarstan, every your idea and initiative are important. I wish you success and desire to be first”, - Leila Rinatovna greeted the participants of the rally. Also the honored guests got acquainted with the exhibits of scientific and technical creativity.
KNRTU-KAI presented the engineering lyceum-boarding school students projects, lyceum - engineering center and participants of the “UMNIK” program, for example, types of additive technologies from the Department for laser technologies, pulsating air jet engine from the Department for Jet Engines and Power Plants. The eighth-grader of the lyceum - engineering center Timur Garifullin presented a multifunctional robot Scara, which easily turns from a robot-draftsman into a 3D printer or laser engraver. Also, students of the Lyceum presented the Quadcopter projects from composite materials, a robot-artist, a fire simulator, automatic watering of indoor plants.
Within the framework of the convention, schoolchildren presented many gadgets and inventions that can find practical application. For example, the eleventh grader Ksenia Belyaeva presented the wave power plant. She performed this project under the guidance of KNRTU-KAI teachers Idgay Mingazetdinov and Svetlana Smirnova.
The Convention program consisted of lectures and master classes from specialists in the field of design, lawyers, patent attorneys, start-ups, representatives of private and public venture funds. Photoes is available here.
