Pre-pensioners will be trained by WorldSkills programs.
The university takes part in the “Older generation” federal project, which is aimed to teach pre-pensioners some technical skills, and it is included in the “Demography” national project. Courses are designed not only for engineering specialists, but also people who want to learn the basics of the profession, starting with the basics. Training is free for Russians.
The university currently implements seven advanced training programs for six competencies: CAD engineering design, mechatronics, industrial automation, electronics, electrical installation, operation of unmanned aircraft systems. Each of the programs is designed for 72 hours, the schedule of classes is made taking into account the wishes of students.
The “Demography” national project will last from 2019 up to 2024 and includes five federal projects: “Financial support for families at the birth of children”, “Promotion of women's employment”, “Older generation”, “Strengthening public health”, “Sport is the norm of life”.
A pre-pensioner is a man who is five years away from receiving an old-age pension.
