Guests From Switzerland At Engineering Lyceum

Official WorldSkills-2019 representatives from Switzerland visited KNRTU-KAI source of manpower.

January, 25 official WorldSkills-2019 representatives from Switzerland Ulrich Buechi and Rico Pietro Tsiokorelli visit the Engineering Lyceum of KNRTU-KAI. The visitation took place in the contest of a vocational guidance project to improve the prestige of working professions "One school - one country". Guests were met by the Lyceum Director Dinar Gabidullin. He told the guests about the teaching of the Lycee; he also introduced the delegation with the lyceum infrastructure. In the project area, students presented their projects in English. Then the guests attended an open English lesson with students from grades 7-8. Lyceum students talked about their vision of the WorldSkills championship, its goals, and what participating does give to children. A senior pupil Aydar Shaymardanov spoke about his path to victory in the WorldSkills Russia 2018 Championship ("Mechatronics" competence). Ulrich Buechi shared his impressions: «This is a great modern school with the latest equipment, where theory and practical work are combined. Children here can really work with their hands, create something, having first studied the theory in class».
