"Wings for life" From Kaliningrad to Kamchatka

24.07.2018

The geography of admission to KAI this year reaches 59 subjects of the Russian Federation – including Moscow and St. Petersburg!

The admission campaign 2018 is in high gear. One of the most interesting and important aspects is the geography of entrants. This year only slightly more than half of those who entered KNRTU-KAI (58.77%) represent Tatarstan and only a quarter (27.68%) – Kazan. The others represent 58 subjects of the Russian Federation.

The «second prize» belongs to Bashkortostan. As always, many entrants came from other constituent entities of the Russian Federation – Chuvashia, Mari El, Udmurtia, Ulyanovsk and Kirov oblasts. It should be noted that many kids enter our university not only from cities, but also from villages and hamlets.

It’s important, that some of the entrants overcame thousands of kilometers to enter the university. This year KAI will open its doors for 20 children from Yakutia, 10 people from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, five represent the Irkutsk and Kemerovo regions.

It's worth mentioning that entrants from regions with their own powerful engineering schools – for example, from Moscow and Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Tomsk and Novosibirsk regions, came to study at the KNRTU-KAI.
